Marc was born in Girona, Catalonia. He obtained in 2012 his international baccalaureate diploma programme and in 2015 graduated with a BSc in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Catalonia. Currently, he is pursuing a MSc in Nanomaterials: Chemistry and Physics at Utrecht University, The Netherlands. His master thesis in the Biophysics group concerns synthesizing nano-particles that can be observed both in a fluorescence and electron microscope.

In addition to Utrecht, Marc has done research internships in Barcelona and London. None of these were topic related, but based on the curiosity that Marc has for science in general, which is also one of the reasons why he pursued a BSc in Nanoscience!
